When the COVID-19 pandemic started many shifted to online means and also many stepped up to help others and think of ways to emerge and not be stale. And with that, I’m glad to have this another opportunity to be in partnership with DLSU’s Lasallian Scholar Society for their month long initiative called #SupportKaLocal 🎉

When I started Heartily Handcrafted, my vision is not just to share what I have in store, but more importantly to utilize what I can make or what I do to bless others. And it’s been a great journey in many ways, especially when I get to contribute to something that might impact people’s lives.

Here I quote what #SKL initiative is all about:

#SKL is a fund-raising activity and advocacy campaign of Lasallian Scholars Society that aims to promote local and small businesses through empowering their presence on different digital platforms.

You may join in supporting this initiative by checking out their other local business partners in various industries. And you might be interested in trying out the products or services too! See their post in their Facebook of their partners here or check out their IG account 😃

On a side note, one thing that excites me to be part of this initiative is because I’ve been to De La Salle, not as an undergrad, but I took up units for post graduate school while I was working. And the experience has been a great learning season. So here’s a little something I can do for them and also support these hardworking youth 💛

I believe that we can truly have an effect to the younger generation, deliberately or not. And I hope that it will be for their betterment 🌟

“Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech…”

~Titus 2:6-8a

Take care an stay safe always and God bless! 😊🌼
