The Tough Times

The recent weeks has been a different week for many us, if not around the world. Something that may be for almost all of us will happen once in our lifetime. The Covid-19 pandemic unfolded in a way that probably many of us are aware is already starting, but was not that really ready for it. And definitely was not prepared to what how it will affect us, in our daily living, our economy, our safety, and to even our own selves.

I am writing this journal, not to emphasize the scary part of what is happening, but with the goal that for us to see beyond it. During these hard times a lot of emotions are being displayed and sometimes overwhelms us. But, though that is the case and, honestly, may be hard to control or suppress, I believe we can overcome through taking hold of hope. The kind of hope that only comes from the Lord, who has the power to heal every sicknesses, wisdom to make things fall into place according to his perfect will and mercy for all his creation.

The Hope from the Lord

I say that’s the kind of hope we truly need, since hope from man can fail, but the Lord never fails – his love never waiver and for eternity will prevail. Because that’s who He is. I pray that hope will arise in each of us and that a fresh new faith will be birthed so we can trust Him, that his compassion will be upon us all, with joy and peace in our hearts. May I leave you with this verse and a prayer:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

~Romans 15:13

Feel free to pray this prayer with me:

Dear our Heavenly Father,

You are the Creator of heavens and the earth and everything in it. Thank you that you created each beautiful and wonderful. Our life is but a breath and you are everlasting. But, you are mindful of everyone of us. With the current situation the world is in, we know we can hold on to you and trust you; that you are bigger than any circumstances. Take any anxieties, fear and frustrations in our hearts and minds and fill us with hope and strength to overcome. Build our faith and enable us to shine your light in this world. Thank you Lord that we have our confidence in You that you will be with us as we go through this. Bless our health workers, the government, and everyone who are actively out there to serve; may you give them strength, protection, resources and wisdom as they continually help and give their best. We pray for healing to those who are sick and protection for all of us for you are our healer and our shield.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Ask and you will receive, seek him and you will find him. Take care and stay safe everyone. God bless! 💛🌻
