Back stitch is simple yet very useful stitch. This is great for outlining and it gives a steady stitch. Here are simple steps to do this:
a. From a small distance (1) away, about less than half a centimeter, from the starting point (2), push the needle up. Then go back the starting point (2) and push the needle down.
b. Push the needle up with a gap of the same distance from the first step.
c. Go back and push the needle down to the end of the first stitch to fill the gap.
d. Repeat steps b and c.
e. This will look like a straight line both at the front and back.
That’s it! Hope you were able to follow. Enjoy Back stitching! 🙂
